July 19, 2011 - a group including our MSU Horticulture Gardens had a wonderful opportunity to visit Clifton Welsch's 20-acre prairie near DeWitt Michigan. We know it's not the campus gardens - but it a wonderful display of native plants. Follow this link to see some photos of this great project.

May, 2011 - the gardens really are waking up! The daffodils are beautiful this year - also look for hellebores, pasque flowers and a wonderful native plant - prairie smoke! The trees will be blooming in no time.
