Udall Undergraduate Scholarship

Udall Undergraduate Scholarship – Deadline is January 8
This award is for up to $7,000 for eligible academic expenses (opportunity to re-apply for second year when junior);
Students should work directly with the National/International Fellowships and Scholarships (NIFS) office (nifs@msu.edu) on these applications as they require an institutional nomination and endorsement.
To be eligible students should:
  • be a sophomore or junior;
  • be a future leader in environmental fields (e.g., policy, engineering, science, education,  urban planning, urban renewal, business, health, justice, economics)
  • AND / OR future Native American & Alaska Native leaders (in public & community health care, tribal government, public policy affecting Native American communities)have a demonstrated commitment to one of these areas through public service;
  • be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
