The Nevada DIVISION OF FORESTRY is recruiting for an Urban and Community Forester in Carson City or Las Vegas, Nevada. The position is responsible for program development, implementation and compliance with national program goals and objectives; develops and manages budgets for federal grants; submits annual reports of program accomplishments; provides oversight and coordination for the Urban & Community Forestry (U&CF) staff statewide; awards subgrants for special projects and oversees project implementation and reimbursements; provides technical assistance to communities on urban forestry program development and management; promotes U&CF through public appearances and other outlets; and develops educational and outreach materials. *** THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE BEFORE THE POSTED CLOSE DATE BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED.
