Deadline: July 31, 2016

Dr. Hanson’s Lab of the MSU Horticulture Department is looking for a field research harvest assistant, to assist in harvesting and collecting data on organic raspberries under high tunnels. The position will start June 20th and end the first or second week of October depending on weather. The schedule is a Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:30am-1pm, with a couple weekends to work as well but not more than 6-8 hours in a weekend. If you have classes starting back up in September, we can talk about a flexible schedule. The schedule also depends on work load, so some days may be longer or shorter than others. Most work will be done at our research site at the Horticulture Teaching and Research Farm on College Road in Holt, MI(5 minutes from campus). This position will be available for the next 3 years at those dates. You will meet the research manager and the harvest crew at the farm on most days. Training provided, no prior experience necessary. Please email Josh Moses, mosesjos@msu.edu, if you are interested and want more information.
