The Laingsburg Community Schools serve the city of Laingsburg as well as several surrounding townships—a vibrant rural area of midMichigan.  Located fifteen miles northeast of Lansing, Laingsburg Community Schools has topnotch facilities, a caring staff, dedicated parents, and hardworking and respectful students, making this an excellent place to be an educator. Each classroom is equipped with a data projector, flatscreen LED TV, two Apple TVs, and each teacher has a Macbook Air laptop with which to work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate: Science (DX) OR Integrated Science (DI)
  • Certified to teach grades 68
  • Must demonstrate an ability to communicate and connect with students and parents
  • Must be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues

  • Ability to engage adolescent learners
  • Ability to integrate technology into instruction
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for all learners
  • Ability to lead extracurricular programs
  • Ability to expand enrichment curriculum
  • Ability to teach middle school mathematics (EX)
