The Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi is expanding our facility. Under the supervision of the Senior VP of Operations, the Horticulturist will oversee all aspects of the operations of the horticulture area. They will have oversight of the acquisition and quarantine of the live animal botanical collection and develop and implement the botanical collection plan. The Horticulturist will participate in the development and design exhibits as designed along with overseeing the purchasing and inventory of horticulture supplies and equipment.
A Bachelor’s degree from a four year college is required with one to two years related experience or training. Any equivalent combination of education and experience to be able to perform the essential functions of the job would meet the education and experience criteria.
