Montana State University, Department of Research Centers is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in perennial fruit production. This is an outstanding opportunity to work closely with growers to improve fruit production in a Northern Rocky Mountains. The position will be housed at the Western Agricultural Research Center in Corvallis, MT (http://agresearch.montana.edu/warc/). The candidate is expected to develop a research and outreach program that serves the needs of the diverse fruit producers in the region. The area is home to many small-scale vineyards, orchards. The primary tree fruits are apples and cherries. Small fruits and berries are also grown. The area offers a diverse array of outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, fishing, and hunting.
