Prepared for the Sesquicentennial of MAC/MSC/MSU, this book chronicles activities in the Department of Horticulture from the founding of Michigan Agricultural College in 1855 to its 150th birthday in 2005.  Many photographs illustrate the evolution of the Department as the College grew from "an oak opening" to a University with more than 40,000 students.

Includes full-page color photos of perennial garden, annual garden, 4-H Children's Garden, Clarence E. Lewis Arboretum, and Hidden Lake Gardens.
