The MSU Demonstration Gardens is an All American Selections official site!  Enjoy 7 acres of floral displays in the Horticulture Gardens of Michigan State University. Each year, we trial approximately 1000 cultivars of annuals and herbaceous perennials growing in the landscaped gardens.

Enhance your Garden Plant Tour by learning what is new and exciting in plant evaluation and research at MSU! On August 6th, join the MSU Garden Plant Team for the 2008 Garden Plant Showcase. Attend one of the educational tracks taught by MSU faculty and staff. This year, the presentations focus on new plant material and garden favorites, a review how to regulate plant height of floriculture crops using plant growth retardants, and how to recognize and treat common greenhouse diseases.

Advance registration is encouraged and includes lunch, a parking pass, and one copy of the annual trial book. Additional trial books are available for purchase at the Visitors Center. The program is outlined below.
