Nicholas Pershey, M.S. Graduate Research Assistant

Nick's research emphasis is on improving irrigation efficiency in container-grown woody ornamentals based on Daily Water Use (DWU) as determined by data collected using real-time sensors and developing models to predict DWU for similar crops. Additional objectives include using this method to reduce runoff and agricultural chemical losses from container production areas.
