She is currently pursuing an MS on weed control in Christmas trees. She hopes to establish and evaluate the effects of seeded and natural ground covers plus herbicides on Christmas tree growth and development to identify which ground cover species are suitable for Michigan Christmas tree production. Her major advisor is Dr. Bernard Zandstra.
