DIRECTIONS TO THE MSU HORTICULTURE GARDENS

 

From 1-496/US 127 A direct route to the garden is the Trowbridge Road. Stay on Trowbridge through campus.  Follow Trowbridge to the traffic circle, which is Bogue Street.  Turn right on Bogue and the Garden’s Visitor Parking Lot will be on your right, before the railroad tracks. 

 

From I-69 south         Take exit 94 onto bus I-69 (E. Saginaw St.) towards East Lansing (4.4 miles).  Turn left (south) onto Hagadorn Road (1.6 miles).  Then turn right onto Shaw Lane. Take the first roundabout and go south on Bouge Street and continue through the second roundabout staying south on Bouge.  The

Gardens will be on your right, past Wilson Road and before the Railroad tracks.

 

EVENT and VISITOR PARKING

Limited parking is available in the gardens’ visitor lot, south of the Plant and Soil

Sciences building on Bouge Street and Wilson Drive.  During university business hours (7:30 am to 5:30 pm); tickets are required to exit the lot and are available at the Visitor Information Booth for $3.00.  At other times parking is free. 

 

For private events such as weddings, special parking arrangements are available in four areas around the Horticulture Gardens.  Lots next to the Vet Med Building, Food & Toxicology Building and Plant Biology Building are labeled on the map

provided below.
