Transposable elements (transposons) are emerging as more and more important research focus in genome evolution, plant breeding, genetics etc. My research mainly focus on the impacts of Mutator-Like Elements (MULEs) on Illinois Long-Term Selection Experiment maize strains which are selections on kernel protein and oil contents.
