Directions to the MSU Horticulture Gardens

From 1-496/US 127 A direct route to the gardens is the Trowbridge Road exit (#9). Follow Trowbridge Road east onto campus. At Harrison Road continue through campus to Wilson road and turn right. Continue to Bogue Street and turn right. The gardens visitor lot entrance will be on the right side just before the railroad tracks.

From I-69 south Take exit 94 onto bus I-69 (E. Saginaw St.) towards East Lansing (4.4 miles).  Turn left (south) onto Hagadorn Road (1.6 miles). Go straight through Grand River. Turn right onto Service Road. Turn right onto Bogue Street.  The gardens visitor lot entrance will be on the left hand side just past the railroad tracks.

A 90 minute token can be purchased in the garden parking lot vending machine for $3.00. If a visit longer than 90 minutes is desired, they can be purchased in multiples of 2 for $5.00 from the token machine. The parking meters are in effect Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Parking on the weekends is free, unless there is a home football game or an event at Wharton Center. For private events such as weddings, special parking arrangements are available in four areas around the Horticulture Gardens. Lots next to the Vet Med Building, Food & Toxicology Building and Plant Biology Building are labeled on the map provided.
