General Information:

Through lectures, field trips, reading assignments, and journal writings, you will be actively engaged in developing your own personal learning plant for this program.  Faculty from Wageningen Agricultural University, along with MSU faculty, will teach you about the local production and export of ornamental plants and how this affects the people and environment.

Credits & Courses:

All students are required to enroll for a minimum of five (5) credits from the following courses:

HRT 475 International Studies in Horticulture 2-5

HRT 490/890   Independent Study                   2-5 credits

ANR 475          International Studies in ANR   2-5 credits

If you require more than five credits, you must contact the faculty leaders prior to enrollment.

Journals:

All trip participants will keep a daily journal that will be checked periodically by faculty leaders.  Daily journal entries are for reflection, questions, comparison and contrast of the day's events.
