What is the Floriculture and Business
College of Knowledge

Greenhouse Grower Certificate Program?

The Floriculture and Business College of Knowledge
is a series of educational modules that has been developed for greenhouse growers that want to improve their knowledge and skills for career advancement.  To date, over 400 people from 21 states and four countries have participated and learned more about growing greenhouse crops and business and management.

Participants of each course receive textbooks, bulletins, and comprehensive notebooks containing course notes and supplemental information.  Each course is four hours long, and provides an opportunity to learn from and interact with university faculty and extension agents with expertise in floriculture.  For more information, click the links to the right or contact Sandy Allen at (517) 355-5191, ext. 1339 or allens@msu.edu.
